Folded Feather Workshop with Kassandra Mirosh
Work with featured festival artist Kassandra Mirosh to create a beautiful paper bird sculpture.
You will be able to choose from a variety of templates: ravens, chickadees, swallows, and of course... sandhill cranes. A variety of recycled, handmade and specialty paper and cardboard will be transformed into an artistic representation of one of Alaska's amazing avian creatures.
You are encouraged to bring letters, cards, maps, photos, sheet music or other paper you might want to utilize to personalize your piece, but everything you need to create your bird sculpture will be provided.

An introduction to Nature Journaling that invites all levels of artists from zero experience to years of experience. Play around with page composition, observation skills and appreciation of the world around us through words, pictures and numbers. Bring your own journaling supplies or use provided supplies.
