Camp Habitat

Camp Habitat is a nature education & ecology camp for children ages 4-11. Campers learn about the natural history of Interior Alaska through an engaging outdoor education curriculum. They will explore Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge through themes that include plants, birds, fish and human interactions with the environment.


Camp Habitat is sponsored by Friends of Creamer's Field, the Alaska Department of Fish & Game, and the Northern Alaska Environmental Center.

Scholarships Available!
Fill out the form below and email completed form to camphabitat@friendsofcreamersfield.com or drop it off at the Farmhouse Visitor Center.
We will contact you regarding your scholarship application within 10 working days. A promotion code with the amount of scholarship will be given to you to sign up your child. Please do not register your child before receiving this code.

To make camp as accessible to as many children as possible, campers are limited to one (1) session per child.
Pre-school Programs:
Nature Sprouts (ages 4-5)
$175/camper
(Half day program)
Children explore Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge through developmentally appropriate hands-on activities and games. Your kids will experience the natural world with sensory exploration, discovery hikes, ecology-themed games, songs, and creative craft projects.
