Instructor
Position: Camp Habitat Instructor
Location: Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge, Fairbanks, Alaska
Status: Seasonal position, Full-time June & July

Employment Details: $17-$18/hour DOE, No Overtime, See job description for full details.
Job Description: Instructors are responsible for the complete lesson planning (curriculum provided), leadership, and supervision for one group of 10-12 children per week. Groups range in age from 4 - 5 (pre-school) and 6 - 11 years old (day camp). Instructors develop, organize and implement developmentally appropriate, fun, and educational activities to facilitate children’s exploration and discovery of nature.

Counselor
Position: Camp Habitat Counselor
Location: Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge, Fairbanks, Alaska

Job Description: Counselors are responsible for the daily set up/ take down of camp, prep work for lessons, leadership, and supervision with an instructor for one group of approximately 10-18 children per week. Groups range in age from 4 - 5 (pre-school) and 6 - 11 years old (day camp). Counselors help instructors organize and implement developmentally appropriate, fun, and educational activities to facilitate children’s exploration and discovery of nature.
Qualifications Desired: Must be 14-years-old or older, interested in teaching and/or working with children, sincere respect for children and nature, Please see job description for all desired qualifications.
